Made locally in East Nashville, TN by me :)
It measures 5.5" x 8"...and is 1.5" wood. Painted with a few layers & distressed to give each a unique look & finish.
I describe them as perfect in their imperfections because they are not "perfectly" cut pieces of wood and their finish is not "perfectly" painted. There may be a very noticeable knot in the wood...that sometimes, I must work the words around, or a dent, or a corner that has a chip. All of these "imperfections", along with the vintage-look distressed finish give the Wildwood tablets a time-worn, "perfect" feel.
Each has a sawtooth wall hanger...and will stand alone, too.
Special order / Personalization is available for an additional $10. You may request up to 10 words to be added to the front or back. Perhaps you'd like to add "Happy Birthday, Mom...Love, Me" or "Congratulations Jack & Diane...and their wedding date"
Feel free to send any questions my way regarding personalization {or custom} orders. They do require a 7-10 day production time.
The original is pictured...you will receive a new one with the same overall color, composition, and word placement. They require 3 - 5 days to create.
